Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will be making his first trip outside of Nepal since taking office in December of last year, when he will go to India on May 31 for an official visit that will continue for four days.
Dahal will be joined by a high-level team on his visit to this country at the request of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his stay in the country, the Prime Minister of Nepal is scheduled to meet with both President Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Within the scope of his tour, Dahal will also go to Ujjain and Indore.
He plans to have in-depth discussions with the Prime Minister of India, Modi, about the myriad aspects of the bilateral partnership that exists between Nepal and India.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs, the visit “continues the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Nepal in furtherance of our ‘Neighborhood First’ policy.”
”Over the course of the past several years, the bilateral relations that exist between the two nations have experienced a tremendous strengthening in every area of collaboration. This visit demonstrates how important it is to both parties to continue to build momentum for the bilateral cooperation, as stated in the statement.
