According to information obtained from BelTA, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Aleksandr Volfovich stated during a somber graduation ceremony at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that the international security architecture is in the process of coming apart.
“The military and political situation is very complicated, including along the border of our country,” she said. “This includes our own country.”
Unfortunately, the framework that supports international security is disintegrating right now. Belarus is in the middle of a tense conflict that is raging between East and West, and it is difficult to predict what will happen next.
According to Aleksandr Volfovich, “and the political situation in our country depends a great deal on the capability of our system to maintain law and order.”
